I purchased a pair of tweed gloves for my partner while we were on a motorhome trip along the South Coast a few months back. After wearing them a second time, the tweed on one glove split on both sides. Since I bought them retail while on holiday and paid in cash, I didn’t have a receipt or even remember the shop's name, but I did keep the box and tag. I reached out to customer service and explained the situation. They promptly sent me a return label for the gloves and initially suggested a repair. However, once they received the gloves, they informed me that a repair wasn’t feasible, provided a link to their current products, and offered a substitute of similar value. Since those gloves were no longer available, I chose a hat, which arrived the very next day. Truly impressive service that makes me feel confident in their products.

Incredibly useful online assistance. I purchased a set of gaiters last year, and for some reason, I never got around to using them. They had a defect. I couldn't locate any documentation or anything, but there were zero issues, and they're sending me a replacement pair. Really appreciate it!

I bought two Alan Paine jumpers that I hardly wore, and they developed holes under the arms just a few months after I got them. This seems like a clear mistake in manufacturing. I've got a bunch of other Alan Paine jumpers, and none of them have had this issue.

When I reached out to Alan Paine Customer Care about my problem, they said: ... I'm sorry, but we can't provide a refund or any compensation for these items.

It's really disappointing because I've been a loyal customer for years. But I guess that's all in the past now—I'm done with Alan Paine products.

Just yesterday, I placed an order for the Ladies Rutland shooting jacket, and by 10am today, I was already trying it on! Super fast delivery. The jacket is fantastic, top-notch quality, and fits like a glove. It's gonna last me for years.

I ordered a jacket after spotting it online. It showed up right on time. The delivery was secure, and they followed Covid-19 social distancing rules, so everything went smoothly. This jacket is just right for walks—such a nice shape and color. I’d definitely suggest this item.

I was on the hunt for something tweedy for myself and ended up at Alan Paine. Sadly, there wasn't anything that caught my eye. A few hours later, I got an email saying they had added more to the ladies' sale - and I was on the lookout for something a bit different for a Christmas gift for my wife. I found just the thing, and it arrived all nicely wrapped - plus, it fit perfectly. My wife is thrilled, and that makes me happy too! The website is great as well.

I just got myself a loden shooting jacket during their sale, and I couldn't be happier with how well it's made. I've got a few shooting jackets that set me back around £500 to £600, and while they’re decent, they just don’t compare to the fantastic jacket I snagged from the Alan Paige (AP) website. Last year, I was gifted an AP tweed shooting vest and cap for my birthday, and I use them both all the time for rough shooting and dog training. The vest and cap are top-notch, really well crafted, and offer amazing value for the price. If you’re thinking about getting a new shooting jacket, you should definitely check out the AP collection. You might save a good chunk of change and still end up with a quality jacket that costs half as much as similar options out there.

For over half a century, my husband has been purchasing Alan Paine sweaters. We ordered three, and not long after wearing them, we noticed significant piling. We reached out to the company, and they suggested we wash them. After washing one, it ended up with even more piling, some shrinkage, and a tiny hole. We returned the sweaters for inspection, and now Alan Paine is sending them back to us. It's really disheartening to see such a drop in quality and to deal with unhelpful customer service after being a loyal customer for so many years. They clearly don’t uphold their product standards or value customer loyalty.

Shooting jacket from Rutland. Got it in less than two days after placing my order (on a Sunday, no less). Sizing can be tricky when you shop online, but this time it was spot on. The fit is just right and the quality is top-notch. I'm really happy with it. Snagged it at a fantastic price since I ordered during the winter sale.

Top-notch quality, a fantastic selection of lovely colors, and speedy delivery (even to France!). A vee neck fits just right for both work and lounging at home. After checking out their dad's, our boys are now hoping to get some Alan Paine sweaters as well. And they definitely will...

I got a tweed shoulder cape for my wife as a Christmas gift. The ordering and delivery went smoothly, no issues there. But when she unwrapped it, we noticed the stitching around the buttonhole was really shoddy. After thinking it over, we decided to send it back for a new one. Sadly, all I got in response was a brief email saying they were out of that style, color, and size, and that a refund was on the way. Well, that’s a bummer! I guess I’ll just grab the cape from Holland Cooper instead!

The quality and design are top-notch for what you pay. I was a bit concerned about my son's long arms being a problem, but nope, it fits him just right! He’s super excited for the cold weather or the shooting season to kick off. Thanks a bunch! Alan

Awesome selection of colors and sizes at fair prices. Ordering online was a breeze. When the item showed up, it exceeded my expectations, and I'm super happy with the shade and feel of the Geelong wool. I still gotta check how it holds up after a wash, but I'm pretty sure it will maintain its shape.
